POOT Loop Docs

Everything your community needs to keep the loop moving.

A practical guide to setting up POOT Loop, building repeat participation and running community campaigns directly inside Telegram.

01 / Overview

Telegram-native engagement for Web3 communities

POOT Loop combines AI discussions, participation scoring, POOT reputation, daily check-ins, streaks, leaderboards, X campaigns and recurring community seasons in one Telegram-native engagement loop.

POOT points are engagement and reputation metrics. They are not automatically money, tokens or a promise of token rewards.

02 / Getting Started

Bring POOT into your community

  1. Open @pootloop_bot.
  2. Add POOT to your Telegram community and give it the permissions it requests.
  3. Run /setup as a community administrator.
  4. Configure the community behavior and save the setup.
  5. Explicitly start the 7-day trial when you are ready.
  6. Run /startseason when you are ready to begin competitive scoring.

Setup, trial activation and the first season are separate actions. Adding POOT or saving setup alone does not start the trial or a season. Communities can configure and use POOT features before their first season, but new POOT points, streaks and competitive progression begin only once an active season exists.

03 / Community Setup

Choose how POOT behaves in your group

Setup lets an administrator choose a community niche, tone, timezone, active hours, inactivity threshold, season frequency and enabled community features. The defaults are Casual tone, UTC, 09:00–23:00 active hours, a 45-minute inactivity threshold and Weekly seasons. AI discussions, follow-ups, Telegram scoring, leaderboards, reminders and Focus Mode are enabled by default. X Raids are off until an administrator enables them.

Active hours and inactivity

Automatic discussions are evaluated in the community timezone during the configured active window. The setup offers 09:00–23:00, 08:00–20:00 and a 24-hour 00:00–23:59 option, plus custom values. A normal human text message resets the inactivity timer. Slash commands, POOT messages, other bot messages and Telegram service events do not count as human community activity.

04 / Community Seasons

Turn participation into a recurring community loop

Choose Weekly or Monthly seasons during setup. An administrator starts the first season with /startseason. Weekly seasons last seven days; Monthly seasons end on the matching calendar date in the next month. After the first manual start, eligible communities continue into recurring next seasons.

Changing the frequency affects the next season, not one already running. Season results recognize top contributors, while lifetime POOT reputation remains available across season turnover.

The active-season scoring envelope

An active season is the authoritative window for competitive progression. Before an administrator starts a season, and during any gap after one ends, POOT can still run community features but does not create new points, streak progress or active-season rankings. Scoring starts at the season start and stops at its exact end; later processing does not change when an action occurred.

05 / AI Discussions

Start better conversations when the group is quiet

POOT can seed an automatic, niche- and tone-aware discussion after the configured period of human inactivity during active hours. It uses recent community context as inspiration, respects daily limits and cooldowns, and does not send a generic fallback when it cannot generate a suitable starter.

Administrators can also use /discussion to start a discussion and/enddiscussion to close it. When enabled, a successful discussion can receive a follow-up that keeps the conversation moving.

How Telegram Discussion Points Work

Members earn POOT by contributing meaningfully to an active POOT discussion. Points are based on qualifying contributions, not simply message count, and only apply while a valid active community season exists.

First qualifying contribution+3 POOT
First qualifying responder bonus+2 POOT
Next three qualifying contributions+2 POOT each
Normal participant maximum9 POOT per discussion
First qualifying responder maximum11 POOT per discussion

A member who makes four qualifying contributions can earn 3 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 9 POOT. If that member is also the first qualifying responder, the additional +2 bonus brings the maximum to 11 POOT.

The first-responder bonus goes to the first contribution that qualifies, not simply the fastest message. POOT rewards qualifying replies to the active discussion and continued eligible participation. Commands, bot messages, spam, duplicate or noise messages, replies not associated with the discussion and messages outside the scoring window do not earn discussion points.

Each discussion has a 30-minute scoring window. Once a member reaches the per-discussion cap, they can keep chatting but do not earn more POOT from that discussion. A fresh POOT discussion starts a new earning opportunity.

Discussions may still run before a season starts. Those pre-season messages can remain part of the conversation, but do not earn POOT or consume a scoring slot. A new qualifying contribution after the season becomes active may score only while that discussion's valid scoring window is still open, including first-responder scoring; POOT never awards points retroactively.

When Telegram Scoring is off, members can still participate, but POOT does not create discussion point awards or consume later scoring opportunities for those messages. Streak multipliers do not apply to Telegram AI discussion points; they apply to eligible X campaign rewards instead.

06 / Reputation & Scoring

Reward real contribution, not message volume

POOT tracks lifetime and current-season reputation. Telegram scoring is designed around qualifying, substantial human contributions rather than every message, helping reduce spam and low-effort farming. Titles and ranks naturally reflect the participation data for the current community.

Lifetime POOT is the preserved cumulative record of legitimate points earned or adjusted during active scoring seasons. It does not reset between seasons, but it also does not keep increasing when no active season exists. An active season begins the competitive envelope for Telegram points, check-ins, eligible X rewards and admin adjustments.

X rewards are separate from Telegram scoring. New Likes earn a base 0.5 POOT and new Replies earn a base 3 POOT when campaign requirements are met. The seasonal X multiplier can apply to those X actions; it does not change Telegram-earned points. See AI Discussions for the per-discussion Telegram scoring breakdown.

07 / Admin Point Adjustments

Recognize community value POOT cannot see automatically

Community administrators can adjust POOT reputation for contests, trivia, AMAs, design and content contributions, ambassador tasks, off-platform participation and careful corrections.

/add <points> <telegram username>/subtract <points> <telegram username>Examples: /add 10 @alice and /subtract 3.5 @alice
  • The target is a Telegram username, not an X username.
  • The command is admin-only and the member must belong to that community.
  • Amounts allow up to two decimal places and do not receive multipliers.
  • An active season is required. Successful adjustments update both lifetime and that active season.
  • Deductions never take lifetime or season totals below zero.
  • Telegram-earned and X-earned sources remain unchanged, while stats show Admin Adjustments separately.

Without an active season, /add and /subtract are rejected and record no adjustment. Leaderboards and ranks update from the canonical total during an active season. Successful adjustments remain visible, auditable community actions.

08 / Check-ins & Streaks

Give members a reason to come back

Members use /checkin once per UTC day. Consecutive daily check-ins build a streak; a missed UTC day resets the current streak. Check-in streaks determine the seasonal multiplier snapshot used for eligible X rewards, not Telegram participation scoring or manual admin adjustments.

Check-ins require an active season. Before one starts, POOT replies: No active season yet. Check-ins begin when the season starts. Members cannot pre-build a current or best streak, or progress a multiplier, before the competition begins.

09 / Leaderboards & Member Stats

Make contribution visible

/mystats shows a member's total reputation, Telegram source, X source, Admin Adjustments, streak, multiplier and title. /myrank shows the current season position, while /leaderboard shows community rankings. Active-season adjustments affect the season leaderboard; lifetime reputation survives season cycles.

When no season is active, POOT does not present an expired season as current competition: these commands show the season-start guidance instead. Historical lifetime reputation and completed season records remain preserved; they are never reset between season cycles.

10 / X Account Linking

Link one X identity to your POOT account

Use /linkx to link an X account, /xprofile to view it and/unlinkx to remove it. POOT uses a stable account identity so a username change does not rewrite earned history. To protect live campaign attribution, unlinking can be unavailable during active campaign or recovery activity.

11 / X Campaigns / Raids

Run structured X campaigns inside Telegram

An admin creates a raid through /raid: X post URL, Like target, Reply target, Repost target, duration and confirmation. Likes, Replies and Reposts are campaign success targets. Use /raids to view community campaigns,/myraids for personal progress and /endraid to end a live raid when necessary.

Reposts help the community reach its campaign target but do not earn individual POOT. Quotes do not earn individual POOT. Like and Reply rewards are one-time, linked-account actions and use the member's frozen seasonal X multiplier snapshot.

Raids, RAID NOW, Focus Mode and aggregate Like, Reply and Repost campaign metrics can operate without an active season. Individual Like and Reply POOT rewards require the action to occur during an active season. Delayed verification cannot retroactively reward an action that happened before the season started or after it ended.

12 / RAID NOW & Focus Mode

Give live campaigns a clear home

RAID NOW gives linked members a fast, authenticated route into a live X campaign and lets them see their personal progress. When the community has Focus Mode enabled, POOT temporarily centers the chat around the live raid and restores normal posting permissions once the campaign ends.

13 / Raid Media

Use a reusable campaign visual

Administrators can set a reusable Raid Media item under /settings. POOT supports a Photo, GIF/Animation or Video, as well as removing the default media. Reply directly to POOT's specific Raid Media upload card with the chosen media; unrelated community media remains normal chat content.

14 / Subscriptions & Trial

Start free, then choose the right coverage

POOT includes a 7-day free trial that an administrator explicitly starts after setup. Monthly access is $50 for 30 days and Yearly access is $500 for 365 days. Both plans provide the same product features.

Subscribe with /subscribe, then choose USDC or USDT on Solana. Payments are direct token transfers; POOT does not require a wallet connection or claim credit card support. Use /checkpayment to check a payment and /supportif you need help.

15 / Admin Controls

Stay in control without cluttering the group

Community administrators manage setup, settings, access, automation, seasons, discussions, campaigns, subscriptions and manual point adjustments. Use/pause and /resume for automation control. POOT keeps replaceable utility and control cards tidy so repeated status, stats and menu requests do not endlessly stack stale cards.

17 / Troubleshooting

Quick checks

POOT does not respond
Confirm the bot is in the community, has the required permissions and community access is active.
An automatic discussion has not appeared
Check active hours, inactivity threshold, AI discussion settings, cooldowns and daily limits.
A member cannot be targeted with /add or /subtract
Use their current Telegram username and make sure they are known to POOT in that community.
An X campaign cannot start
Check community access, X Raids settings and that the post URL is valid.
Raid Media is not accepted
Reply directly to the specific upload card with a supported Photo, GIF/Animation or Video.
A payment is still pending
Use /checkpayment, then contact support if you still need help.
